2014: 480 Otis

In the inaugural Fat Bear Tuesday, a one-day event, the people chose 480 Otis as champion over the elder female, 410.

 

2015: 409 Beadnose

Due to the popularity of the first Fat Bear Tuesday, the tournament was expanded across a full week in 2015. In the first fully fledged Fat Bear Week, 409 Beadnose was voted Fat Bear Champion over 480 Otis.
 

2016: 480 Otis

In the final round for the third year in a row, 480 Otis reclaimed his title as Fat Bear Week champion over 435 Holly.

 

2017: 480 Otis

In a spirited and close Fat Bear Week finale vote, the people once again chose 480 Otis as Fat Bear Week champion over 747.

 

2018: 409 Beadnose

After 409 Beadnose defeated 480 Otis in the second round, she prevailed over 747 to win her second Fat Bear Week title. 

2019: 435 Holly

A perennial Fat Bear Week favorite, 435 Holly, defeated 775 Lefty to become the first Fat Bear Week champion who is not Otis or Beadnose. 

2020: 747

747 defeated 32 Chunk in the biggest Fat Bear Week yet, with more than 640,000 votes cast across all rounds. 

           

2022: 747

Voters chose 747 as Fat Bear Week champion over the young adult female 901. More than one million votes were cast collectively during the tournament, and votes were received from all continents

 

2024: 128 Grazer

Grazer is the first female bear to repeat as Fat Bear Week Champion in back to back years. She was also the first mother bear to ever win the event. About 1.2 million votes were cast collectively during the event.

2021: 480 Otis

480 Otis reclaimed his crown, defeating 151 Walker in the final round. About 800,000 votes were cast in Fat Bear Week 2021.

2023: 128 Grazer

Grazer ran over her competition in 2023. In the finale, voters chose Grazer her competitor Chunk by a nearly 2:1 margin. About 1.3 million votes were cast collectively during the event.
