Susan Craig's years of experience coupled with a good sense of humor and awe, both on his behalf and yours, plus the closeup photography (and belch vocalizations!) make this a very endearing portrait of the gorilla. To save the gorilla, I think you are right that it is essential for more Rwandan youth to be able to experience them in gorilla family units like you have. last month
VaMMpiTreLLa Glad that gorillas are 98.6% humans and not 100% ! This difference of 1.4% makes them really wonderful creatures ! :D The Film is awesome, keep up the good work! 5 months ago

zuzka625 I LOVED this! I was fortunate enough to be able to visit a family of Mountain Gorillas on Visoke in 1987. The most amazing experience of my life. Thank you, Charlie for all you do. I, too, am a lifelong learner. Susan Robinson 11 months ago
JoleenMinarik You have filmed in such a way that we the audience can connect. It is good to see gorillas as they are. Thank you. last year
Domoniquecook What if a human baby was switched with a gorillas baby, without the mother gorilla even knowing, would the mother still treat the human baby as her owns? last year

SwampFox-82nd Once observed by very wise man who declared that all humans are either busily learning, or busily dying. This was observed 351 years before Christ was born. And I fully concur. last year

ethan52695 I would do anything to go to Rwanda and see this magnificent animal. Their just so peaceful. Even though they have all that strength and power they choose not to use it except when they truly need to. I really enjoyed this documentary. I really liked that part when the silver back plays with the baby and hes so gentle. Maybe once I finish high school I will go to Africa and see them. last year
This footage is incredible! Craig Sholley is doing wonderful work. Watching his interaction with the gorillas was an amazing experience. Everyone should take the opportunity to see this. It goes a long way to increasing awareness. Thank you for sharing this. I'll be certain to spread the word. 2 years ago
