Now Viewing: Moldy Gutted Homes

Hurricane Katrina turned thousands of houses into empty shells of what they once were — strewn with waste, and inhabited only by toxic mold spores, left to grow in the ideal conditions of a humid New Orleans summer. Dedicated workers toil endlessly to turn the buildings back into safe and livable abodes.
