This venture is all new to me. It made the transit from "BOOM! All the fish come up" to "Civilian life. You have friends but you don't have comrades." Right there -- that's the journey, from the violence and frustration of daily life post-war to the recognition that there is a unique, safe harbor, just waiting to be found. This is a lovely, necessary piece of work.
