  • Skittlemom Charlie, I want you to know about Hope Animal-Assisted Crisis Response. It's an all-volunteer organization of dog lovers who share their companions with those affected by manmade or natural disasters. www.hopeaacr.org We've visited people after 9/11, Katrina, fires, train derailments, Virginia Tech and other school shootings, and spent time with kids who have lost parents in the military.
