  • In the textile workshop at the Peace Center for the Blind. The Center provides job training for the visually impaired so that they can secure a job and be self-sufficient. Some women learn to knit wool garments, others make jams, juices, cookies, and pastries to sell at bazaars, others learn to style hair and give manicures and pedicures.
  • The Peace Center's educational program is based on the curriculum of the ministry of education. Students are taught in English, Arabic, and Braille.
