bergin university - nala's litter

The "U" litter is a collaboration of the Assistance Dogs International Breeding cooperative. The mom of this litter, Nala, is a black lab who was born at Bergin University, and the litter’s sire is yellow lab named Walker from an organization in Canada called Dogs With Wings. Half of these pups will stay at Bergin, and the other half will head out to other programs around the continent.

Bergin University of Canine Studies is accredited by ACICS (a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the US Dept. of Ed) to award Associate of Science, Bachelor of Science, and Master of Science degrees. This is the place where new ideas in canine studies and research appear, educated dog trainers are produced, service dogs are matched with clients with physical disabilities and veterans with combat-related issues, and therapeutic programs for veterans, at-risk youth, and prisoners are born.
