Welcome to the "T-tent," or the Service Dog Project's outdoor office. Here you can watch the Danes train, play, and lounge. Keep an eye out for Megan and the danes embarking on their occasional "Megan March," or a stroll around the property with all of the pups. When the weather is nice, you might also catch an outdoor spoon-feeding!

Service Dog Project puppies will eventually be placed with people who have Multiple Sclerosis, individuals with Friedreich’s ataxia, and veterans with disabilities. Each dog receives extensive training for balance, and once a dog is paired with an applicant, the dog is uniquely trained to suit the recipient’s needs.

  • grant: $600,000 - Service Dog Project

SDP has donated over 100 Great Danes as service dogs to individuals who have severe balance and mobility limitations. These dogs provide a valuable service and have enhanced the quality of life for their owners.
