My belief that music is the gateway to the soul, is based on the effects I have seen it have over the years, on people with mental and physical disabilities. I have watched 'the light come on' in the eyes of many children with autism, and adults with severe physical and mental disabilities, who otherwise don't seem to enjoy too much about life. This has also been the case with mentally ill people I have worked with. The right song, at the right time, is a powerful thing.
Like all things in the world, music is vibration and as it moves through our physical senses it stimulates us through to our core creating the potential to lift our spirits/awareness to highened relms encouraging soul connection. Not all music is the gateway to my soul though there is much that is.
if you have to ask, you must be a pod person! :-)
I cannot imagine a single human being that has never been swept away to the Soul Eternal by music. God Vibrations.....
Music is the easiest way to reach people and to touch their human side. Music has an incredible capacity to sensitize people to the deepest meanings of life, to make them understand how precious feelings are, and also how much painful suffering can be. Every aspect of human emotion can be beautifully expressed through music, every message reaches and gets absorbed in the hearts of people with ease through the medium of music.
music has a direct connection to the soul
how do i know?
i make music to reach the soul
sometimes that happens
sometimes - - - - -
when it happens
happiness and joy is there - - - - and piece
There is no doubt that music has a tremendous impact on a human being. I notice many of the comments seem to highlight the serene and soothing effects of music. We should note that here are types of music that can make one become aggressive and even violent.
I do not mean to be a negative Nancy, but I do not believe I could tell a deaf person they have no gateway to their soul. The blind would still have a gateway even if they could not see the light in a Rembrandt. Our senses are a connection, but I think it goes deeper.
• Music is a language more powerful than any speech, more expressive than true feelings, and deep enough to touch anyone from everywhere in the world. Its the one common ground
