The First Touch of Water - After almost two months from being without the water, Mike finally gets into a pool at the Rehab of the Pacific. Mike is excited to swim again, but is quick to realize that his path to recovery may be harder than he had ever anticipated.

One Step Closer - After weeks of staying at the Rehab of the Pacific, Mike is given a day pass to go back home. On his trip home, Mike enjoys a family day at the pool, where he and his daughter finally play together. Mikes physical Therapist also stop in for a visit to begin to retrofit Mikes house for disabled living. Although it maybe sad for Mike to see these changes, he is happy because it brings him one step closer to being at home with his family.

Robotic Legs - After being in Hawaii for almost a month, the physical therapist suggest a new form of therapy unlike anything Mike had ever experienced before, Robotic Legs.
Harnest to ceiling, and strapped into an amor that look almost like Robocop, Mike attempts to walk as he once did before. Although his legs are controlled robotically, Mike is encouraged that this robotic system may one day help him in his journey into walking.

The Waves Are Coming - While at home visting his family, Mike gets calls around the world wondering if he can film the next good swell that is coming to Tahiti.
